Where:
Georgia Tech Center for Music Technology,
840 McMillan Street, Atlanta GA 30332

Adam will perform a work for the Tapbox DSP, a musical controller he designed that acts as a percussion instrument. Percussive rhythms are captured using a piezoelectric sensor, and parameters of sound are controlled by moving the instrument in space. These changes of position are measured using an accelerometer and processed using an Arduino Nano microcontroller. Digital synthesis is created using Pd.
